  Three things that make me so happy lately:
  
  1. Every time I take off Malena's shoes, she smiles. Without fail. It is the best! I could put them on and take them off all day long.
  
  2. My husband still tells me every day how much he loves me and how he feels his life is so lucky.
  
  3. Malena LOVES to dance. It is more like squatting up and down, but it's still precious.
  
  In other news...
  
  We just returned from a visit to her eye doctor. The patch is really working. Looks like she won't have crossed eyes after all. We have to continue the patch for another month, then it will taper off after that.

  I just got back from a shopping trip to Target with Mimi. She is such a nightmare on these excursions. She HATES sitting strapped into the cart. All she does is scream that gutteral scream of hers. Low and LOUD! It was annoying me, but what really annoyed me was when these stupid 20-something girls on the next aisle over kept saying, "God! I hate it when, like, babies scream like that!" I probably shouldn't have done this, but I yelled back, "You know, I can hear you!" I was so annoyed, that when one of their cell phones started ringing, I turned the cart down their aisle and got right next to them pretending to look at socks. The girl was trying to talk on the phone and Malena was just screaming right next to her. HA HA HA! I am MEAN!
  
  What does she think I *enjoy* listening to my baby scream? God, I hope I was never like that.

  What a mess. We have Malena over here with a stomach virus, T.J. with the beginnings of one, and me recovering from a root canal. What a pleasant day it was yesterday.
