  We got home last Sunday night after a short but wonderful visit to Louisiana. It was a busy trip...we had a crawfish boil, went to my cousin's wedding & attended my godson's baptism.
  
  The funniest part of the trip was Timmy's reaction to seeing Malena. He is 3, and the last time he saw her was when she was 11 months old. When he got in the car, he asked his Daddy:
  
  Where'd they get this one? What happened to little Mimi. This one can walk.
  
  Priceless.

  Here is what Malena did on Thursday:
  
  Woke up
  Ate breakfast
  Played with cousins
  Went to KidSpace Museum
  Ate lunch
  Napped
  Went to Griffith Park and watched cousins ride ponies, then rode on a train
  Played ball outside with Daddy
  Ate dinner
  Played with cousins
  Took a bath
  Sang songs with Mommy
  
  Here is the "conversation" we had while I was trying to sing songs before bedtime:
  
  Papa Sam, Maya, Camrin, Baby Katelyn, Mom Shirin, Daddy, Daddy basketball, ponies, no ride ponies, choo choo, ride choo train, Tessa
